MACP Concert Manager
The Mill Ave Chamber Players is in search of a concert manager for our series at Central United Methodist Church for the 2015-2016 season. This position will entail handling the operations of ticket and merchandise sales, overseeing interns and help facilitate audience member needs. This position will pay $50 per a concert and more work may be available depending on the strengths of the Concert Manager.
The candidate we are looking to hire must:
Be available for all four concerts of our series – October 11, November 8, February 7 and March 6.
Be available from 1:30-4:30 PM on the date of each concert.
Have a music background and experience running credit card transactions and handling money.
The Concert Manager will:
Be the contact person for performing members of MACP before and during the concert
Set up and tear down the ticketing/sales area and signage for each concert
Manage money, ticket sales, pre-purchased tickets, sell merchandise, and assist with any sales of other artists that will be part of our season
Oversee interns whom will be handing out programs, ushering and assisting with stage set-up
