Schubert Octet and Beethoven Septet: Peoria Center for the Performing Arts

Inspired by Beethoven’s beloved Septet, Schubert composed his largest chamber music work when commissioned by a famous Austrian Count, who was also an accomplished clarinetist. Composed almost 25 years apart, both premieres were performed by many of the same musicians!

Check out a rousing performance of the third movement here!

The Mill Ave Chamber Players will collaborate with Quartet Sabaku for this fantastic concert. Quartet Sabaku is composed with members of the Phoenix Symphony and the Arizona Opera Orchestra.
