Phil Solomon and Friends, a professional steelpan ensemble from Pittsburgh, PA, will perform a wide variety of music to show the diversity of the steelpan.  A native of Guyana, Phil Solomon started his career in Steelpan manufacturing and innovation over fifty years ago and has created a standard process of steelpan manufacturing that produces the highest quality sounding musical instruments. This concert showcase the art and versatility of the modern day steelpan.

This concert is free and open to the public, funded by the Glendale Performing Arts Partnership Grant, the Glendale Public Library and the Mill Ave Chamber Players.
